NAPA CHICKEN SOUP

Looking for something hot on a cold day? P2 Friendly? Low Carb too! Try this ONLY if you mix veggies & use coconut/mct oil. NAPA CHICKEN SOUP 1 Tbsp MCT or Coconut Oil 2 Tbsp chopped Onions 1 Cup Napa Cabbage chopped 5 Brussel Sprouts halved/quartered 1 Stalk Celery sliced 100 grams diced chicken 1 tsp minced garlic 1/2 cup Boiling water UNSALTED Chicken stock/broth 1 or 1/2 cup 2 squirt Braggs Aminos 1 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion Powder 1 tsp Basil 2 Bay Leaves 1/8 tsp Rosemary 1/4 tsp Thyme 1/2 tsp Mrs Dash Garlic & Herb 1/4 Tsp Mrs Dash Lemon Pepper 1/2 tsp Parsley or Cilantro 1/4 tsp SALT 1/4 tsp or less of Tony's seasoning Brown your onions in the Mct oil. Add garlic and sear for 1 minute. Add your chicken (if uncooked, cook for 3 minutes). Spray with braggs aminos. Add your celery, chicken broth, & brussel sprouts now. Stir good. Add boiling water & seasonings. Set timer for 30 minutes. Lower your heat to low-medium. Check every 10 minutes and add 1/4 cup of boiling water as needed. I add my salt & Tony's at the end after I do a taste test--- IF needed. Bon APPETITE! Betty's Cream of Broccoli Soup Recipe

In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Cream of Broccoli Soup. This is one of the items that I ordered when Rick and I had lunch recently at The Glitz restaurant in Nonesuch, Kentucky. This is my own recipe, but I have made it very low in fat and calories—and it tastes very much like the restaurant style Cream of Broccoli Soup! Ingredients: 10-oz. package frozen chopped broccoli 10 ¾-oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 1/3 cups milk (For a creamier soup, use 1 cup milk and 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream. I substituted 1 1/3 cup skim milk for a soup that is healthier and lower in fat and calories.) 1 ½ tablespoons butter, melted ¼ teaspoon dried tarragon, crushed dash of ground black pepper dash of ground nutmeg (for sprinkling on top) 3 drops of green food coloring (optional--just for looks) Cook 10-oz. frozen chopped broccoli according to package directions; drain well. Add a 10 ¾-oz. can of cream of mushroom soup, 1 1/3 cups milk, 1 ½ tablespoons melted butter, ¼ teaspoon dried tarragon, and a dash of pepper. Stir thoroughly. If you like the soup chunky, just heat this over low heat to almost boiling, and it is ready to serve. For a fancier look, pour the mixture into a blender and puree. Then, heat to almost boiling. Do not boil. Remove from heat and ladle into serving bowls. Sprinkle a small amount of nutmeg on top of each serving. Serve with butter crackers. I have adjusted this recipe to make it lower in fat and calories for those of you who are dieting ...

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Jan. 4, 2011) -- Grand Rapids commuters were treated today to sounds of sweet harmony of local a cappella singers as part of McDonald's national rollout of its newest product Fruit & Maple Oatmeal. Grand Rapids was just one of 10 markets in the United States participating in today's national launch. Other markets include: Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Raleigh, San Francisco, Seattle and Tampa. The singers broke into song and engaged hundreds of morning commuters as they rode into the city of Grand Rapids on the Rapid, transferred at the Rapid Central Station, jumped on the DASH or departed on the Amtrak train to Chicago. "It was incredible to hear those wonderful voices, providing us with a warm and harmonious welcome to the morning commute," said Brian McKenzie, (local owner/operator). "We believe that is the same warm morning welcome that Fruit & Maple Oatmeal offers to our customers." Rice Pudding Recipe Tutorial

In this food video, learn how to make a raw, gluten-free and vegan rice pudding recipe. Instructions: 1. Soak 1 cup wild or sweet rice, for 3-5 days, changing water daily. 2. Once fully soaked, blend rice in the food processor until pasty. Then add 1 heaping tablespoon almond butter, 3-4 dates that have been soaked 10 minutes, 2 ripe bananas, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 dash vanilla powder and 1 dash salt 3.
