I own none of the material in this vid. so, here's the deal, I have yet to beat chaos but for those who need to know the best openings in his attacks to land an hp as sephiroth heres how this goes. first, take his summon out of the picture if you can, it will make any attempt at a "slow break" impossible, simply put gradually avoiding damage and draining away his won't work if shinryu decides to say, triple his brave, or force yours to zero. Best way to go is by asura as its the only summon I know of who destroys other summon stones. after you're done stay on the ground and dodge his flaming leap, it's easy to do as he almost always does it, after he's done with the leap there is a good opening to use octaslash or a brave reducer, just don't use transience as it's worthless here. if he starts dashing around the arena and running towards you instead of flaming charge, he's going to use an aerial attack or an hp attack to reset his brave counter, so be ready to use scintilla when he air dashes for you as it blocks the dash and leaves him wide open. when his bravery falls to below 2300 or goes above 3500 he'll start using hp attacks to either reset low bravery or to carve a good sized chunk out of you're hp. there's no helping this so take it in stride and keep dishing out the hurt while watching for a change in his pattern. not that I let myself be wall rushed sometimes, this also is a good way of taking advantage of a block opening, keep in mind that you cannot hp attack ...
